Dr. Jonathan A. Bernstein, a native of Buffalo, NY, is a 1997 honors graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. After practicing in both Chicago, Buffalo, and fellowship experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Bernstein returned to private general practice with a special interest in dental implantology. He was excited to join the Afdent family in July 2006 and is impressed with the level of professionalism of the entire staff.

A member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and local Isaac Knapp Dental Society, Dr. Bernstein was recently awarded fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. (ICOI).

Dr. Bernstein has a strong commitment to continuing education, having completed over 1000 hours in the area of dental implantology, and is dedicated to advancing his knowledge and skills to ensure the highest quality of care to his patients. He believes that a professional should also be a lifelong student and thus he is also a part-time graduate student in Biology at IPFW.

In his spare time, Dr. Bernstein enjoys training for and participating in triathlon, cross-country skiing, cycling, hiking, or just about any outdoor activity. For relaxation, he can often be found at an area coffee shop listening to opera and enjoying a latte.
